We are currently recruiting to fill the role of Team Leader II โ€“ 1st shift The Team Leader will spend more than 90% of work hours performing mechanical maintenance tasks similar to those of other group members. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Dismantles, moves, assembles, installs, and repairs industrial machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, drawings, or verbal instructions Dismantles equipment and machines using hand and power tools; moves machinery and equipment using hoists, cranes, and forklift Aligns machines Performs scheduled inspection and maintenance Knowledge required to calculate the rigging load based on center of gravity, lifting points and any special rigging required Ensure the safety and productivity of all employees assigned to designated shift, crew, or function Receives and disseminates written and verbal instruction, direction and training from Supervisor or other Senior Managers In the absence of the Supervisor, the Team Leader will Train group members and may participate in performance appraisal process Operate from a broad scope of responsibility to maintain production schedules and to ensure quality standards are met Enable effective communications between management and operators Enforce processing procedures and policies Ensure completion of operational documentation for assigned group, such as travelers, map sheets, job router, work requests to other departments, etc. Ensure completion of safety documentation for assigned group, such as first reports of injury, environmental mishaps, JSAโ€™s, etc. Occasional travel to other locations may be required MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: A minimum of 2 years caster repair experience preferred Proven organizational skills Strong Mechanical Aptitude At Primetals Technologies, we value difference for the benefit of our Employees, our Customers, and our Community.
