Arctic Circle is looking for a Cashier to join our amazing team! We hire team players with fun personalities who enjoy working with others. If you are someone who can multi-task, who takes pride in their work, who enjoys learning new things, can follow instructions, and works well in a fast-moving environment then this is the job for you. We pride ourselves on exceptional service and expect nothing less from our frontline Crew Members. Scheduled hours will include both day and night shifts. Our frontline Crew Members are more than just order takers, they are our sales force. Our Crew Members provide a level of guest service that exceeds our guests' expectations and accomplishes our goal to "More than Satisfy".
Characteristics of a Great Restaurant Service Representative:
Projects a professional appearance and a positive attitude at all times in the restaurant
Makes both food safety and sanitation a priority
Is able to learn and hustle in a team environment
Is a self-starter and can multi-task
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Greet our guests enthusiastically with a friendly smile
Accurately record orders on a cash register
Collect payment from guests and make change
Demonstrate a complete understanding of menu items and explain them to guests accurately
Meet guests' needs and take steps to solve food or service issues
Interact with guests to ensure high quality experiences
Understand and adhere to proper food handling, safety and sanitation guidelines
Prepare quality ice cream products, assemble food and beverage orders, and check to make sure they're correct
Present quality products at all times and maintain a neat and clean work area
Maintain adequately stocked workstations, restocking as needed
Attend special meetings as scheduled by the Restaurant Manager
