The Retail Associate/Cashier is the face of Tobacco Hut. This role is responsible for providing

exceptional customer service, processing transactions accurately, and maintaining a deep

knowledge of our product inventory (including cigars, vaporizers, and accessories). The ideal

candidate is reliable, personable, and capable of maintaining a clean, organized storefront.

Key Responsibilities

  •  Customer Service: Greet every customer upon entry and provide expert recommendations based on their preferences and needs.
  •  Sales & Transactions: Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process cash, credit, and mobile payments accurately.
  •  Age Verification: Strictly follow legal requirements by verifying government-issued IDs for all age-restricted products.
  •  Inventory Management: Assist with receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and ensuring products are properly fronted and priced.
  •  Shop Maintenance: Maintain a clean and inviting environment by dusting displays, sweeping floors, and organizing the humidor.
  •  Loss Prevention: Stay alert to store activity to minimize shrinkage and ensure a safe shopping environment.
