Job description

Mason's Famous Lobster Rolls is looking for friendly, dependable, and energetic Team Associates who are passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences. As a Team Associate, you'll be responsible for providing outstanding customer service, preparing high-quality food, maintaining a clean and organized restaurant, and working as part of a team to ensure every guest receives fast, accurate, and memorable service. Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional customer service.
  • Take customer orders accurately using the POS system.
  • Prepare and assemble menu items according to Mason's quality standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant.
  • Restock food, beverages, and supplies throughout the shift.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department standards.
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
  • Assist with opening, closing, and daily cleaning duties.
  • Support teammates to ensure efficient restaurant operations.
  • Represent Mason's at off-site catering events, community events, festivals, and pop-up locations as needed.
  • Perform other duties assigned by management.


Qualifications

  • Restaurant or customer service experience preferred but not required—we will train the right candidate.
  • Positive attitude with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be available to work both in-store and at off-site pop-up or catering events.
  • Must successfully pass a criminal background check.
  • ServSafe Food Handler Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
