Summary: 
Responsible for the daily distribution, acceptance and reconciliation of till bags; processing deposits and disbursement of monies through accurate money tracking, security and balancing; compiling daily statistical reports and maintaining appearance of facility while providing exceptional and courteous guest service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Following Cash Control Policies and Procedures 
• Operating equipment including coin roller, coin counter and currency counter
• Processing tills in and out of control room
• Verifying and calculating safe balances
• Proficient in opening procedures: opening building, verifying safe, preparing deposit
and distribution of till bags
• Proficient in closing procedures: accepting till bags, refilling tills, batching, processing
tills, paying back safe and securing building
• Processing petty cash requests
• Monitors and maintains correspondence of department email
• Performs vending procedures including preparing, processing and depositing
• Accurately reports all relevant cashier information to loss prevention
• Understands and Reports Information on the Sales Report accurately
• Assist in training of new employees
• Maintains internal controls and reports discrepancies
• Maintaining cleanliness and appearance of facilities

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to work 5 days a week, including weekends
• Accurate and precise cash handling and calculating abilities
• Strong mathematical skills; able to use whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
• Understands and demonstrates the importance of attention to details and internal controls
• Previous experience using Microsoft Word and Excel preferred

Education and/or Experience
• Work experience in a bank, loss prevention and/or cash vault setting preferred

Physical Demands: 
• Able to regularly lift/move up to ten pounds, frequently lift/move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift/move up to 40 pounds
• Able to regularly use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, handle, feel, stoop or kneel
• Able to stand or walk for an extended period of time
