Job description


First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking a collaborative, customer-focused, goals-oriented Relief Teller to join our Oahu Team.
This position requires reliable transportation and the ability to travel to any of our various Hawaii branches, including the neighbor islands, based on our changing business needs. We reimburse mileage at the IRS standard mileage rate which is currently $0.725 cents per mile.
Compensation
The pay range is $21.00- $24.50/hr, commensurate with experience; plus sales incentives.
This position offers an additional $2.50/hr Relief Premium, recognizing the flexibility and commitment required to support multiple branches.
Work Schedule
Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 4:30PM; Saturday on a rotation basis 8:30AM - 1:30PM (hours
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional in-branch customer service experience by proactively engaging with customers to identify needs, demonstrating our digital banking options, fulfilling customers' day-to-day transactional needs, as well as advising customers on the full range of financial products and services available to suit their financial needs.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills and be pleasant and tactful when interacting with customers
  • Previous sales experience highly desirable
  • One year of cash handling and customer service experience highly desirable
  • Must be willing to travel to various Hawaii Branches,including neighbor islands. Must be available for the following work schedule
    • Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 4:30PM; Saturday on a rotation basis 8:30AM - 1:30PM (hours may vary)
