What we need
As the Cash Accountant you will support our global cash operations within our Accounting Team. You will be responsible for daily cash activity by processing transactions, ensuring accurate application of customer payments, and maintaining reconciled cash balances across the organization. We are seeking a detail-oriented person who will thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and play a key role in strengthening financial operations. This position reports to Manager, Accounting.
What we do
The Accounting team is part of the Finance organization, which is a critical financial business partner for the Company. Finance functions include General Accounting, Accounts Payable & Receivable, Internal Audit, FP&A. Our Finance team is a trusted source of financial information and guidance for our internal customers, partners, customers, suppliers, regulators, and stakeholders.
What you'll do
  • Process daily cash transactions including wire, ACH and checks to support global operations

  • Apply customer payments properly within accounts receivable

  • Perform timely cash reconciliations and support the monthly close process

  • Support our corporate credit card programs by reconciling activity, processing card payments, and maintaining accruals

  • Contribute to process improvement and system enhancement initiatives, including SAP Cash Management implementation

  • Analyze general ledger activity to identify and resolve discrepancies at the root cause

  • Support internal and external reporting requirements

  • Assist with the preparation of supporting schedules and analytics for audits

  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across finance and the broader organization

What you'll need
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred; graduate degree is a plus

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the general accounting function

  • Experienced in the use of integrated ERP software; SAP experience is preferred

  • Demonstrates an interest in learning inner workings of accounting process and systems

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel user, proficient with functions, pivot tables and data analysis

  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities

  • Excellent communication and attention to detail

  • Strong organizational skills and time management skills

  • Hybrid schedule (3 days per week based in Wilmington, MA office)

Our Environment
  • Up to 10% travel may be required. Employees must have a valid driver's license and the ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations.

  • The employee is responsible for owning a credit card and managing expenses personally to be reimbursed on a bi-weekly basis.

The base range for this position in the posted location is $82,000.00 - $113,300.00 however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes medical, dental, vision, disability, 401K, PTO and/or other benefits.
