Evergreen Armored, a currency logistics and security company, seeks a full-time Branch Manager to lead the Kent, Washington branch. The Branch Manager is responsible for directing all lines of business, including Routes/Scheduling, Cash Logistics, Operations, People, Safety, and Security. The Branch Manager drives execution of the business plan with team members to achieve short- and long-term business and financial results. As a working manager, this position requires the ability to pivot as needed to assist with client conversions, run routes, service ATMS, process currency, or step into other roles as needed to successfully run branch operations.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assume responsibility for the overall market management at a location. Ensure successful integration and partnership with all Evergreen services and customers.
  • Support the VP of Branch Performance & Culture in providing the direction necessary to organize the market logistics and aggressively develop a product-driven organization.
  • Lead daily route optimization and operational execution to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective Cash-in-Transit (CIT) performance.
  • Manage labor, fleet, and operational resources to control branch costs while maintaining high service and safety standards.
  • Identify and support industry best practices, presenting data-driven improvements for leadership approval and implementation.
  • Proactively reduce risk exposure and ensure implementation of measures to reduce workers’ compensation injury costs and security losses within the market.
  • Establish and maintain accountability on all levels of the market. Maintain positive employee relations and work environment.
  • Maintain the highest level of integrity, dignity, and standards internally and externally.
  • Maintain high ethical standards and protect Evergreen Armored’s reputation by delivering high-quality, reliable programs and services that meet customer expectations.
  • Participate in developing strategies for achieving logistic and customer goals.
  • Ensure proper recruitment, selection, and training, while mentoring, coaching, and developing the team members assigned to the market.
  • Establish profitable relationships by maintaining good communications and service levels with internal resources and external clients.
  • Work with Evergreen Armored senior leadership on vehicle maintenance, facility maintenance, and auditing.
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect Evergreen Armored’s operations by keeping negotiable instruments, cash, keys, and customer and/or Financial Institution information secure at all times.
  • Enhance job performance by applying up-to-date professional and technical knowledge gained by attending training sessions, continuing education classes, and reviewing industry trends.
  • Follow regulatory and policy compliance requirements, which include those efforts in compliance with the Federal Reserve Bank, Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Regulations, Identity Theft Red Flags and other compliance-related policies.

Working Conditions:

Split work areas between assigned depot locations and outside. When outside, you may be exposed to all weather conditions and light to moderate background noise. When inside, work will be performed in interior spaces with no natural light. Position involves exposure to potentially hazardous conditions, e.g., robbery. Position may require extended hours.


Physical Activities Required to Perform Job Duties:

Sitting/Standing/Walking: Approximately 25% of the time is spent over the road driving. Balance of time (approximately 75%) is spent walking, sitting and moving about inside facilities.

Speaking/Hearing: Clear diction and acute hearing are necessary for effective communication with co-workers, customers, and outside agencies, by telephone, and in person.

Vision: Corrected vision close to 20/20 is necessary to effectively use computers, handheld scanners, and interpret written information.

Lifting/Carrying/Pushing/Pulling: The ability to lift and carry up to fifty pounds is necessary for transporting currency and/or cargo.

Stooping/Kneeling: The ability to stoop and kneel is necessary for accessing vaults and currency.

Reaching/Handling: Good manual dexterity is necessary for computer keyboard use and for retrieving and working with appropriate paperwork, equipment, and supplies.

Requirements:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

1. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively and project a professional image when giving and taking information in writing, in person, over the phone, and via computer or other electronic means.

2. Ability to effectively establish rapport, present information, and respond to questions from customers and the general public. Skill and ability to meet people and listen.

3. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret operational documents, policies, and regulations.

4. Ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks; good time management, problem-prevention, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

1. High School diploma or equivalent.

2. At least 21 years of age.

3. Must possess a valid Driver’s License and a satisfactory driving record.

4. Must meet the credit history standards set by Maps Credit Union.

5. Must be able to pass a DOT Physical and provide a Medical Examiner's Certificate.

6. Successful completion of State required training for Armed Security Officer armed security certification, or the ability to complete within the first 30 days.

7. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in service, security, or the equivalent combination of training and experience.

8. Minimum of 5 years of armed security experience.

9. Minimum of 3 years of proven supervisory/management experience.

10. Strong knowledge of currency processing and bank operations for processing procedures is preferred.

11. Requires the availability to work Monday – Friday, and occasional Saturday hours as needed.

12. Must be bondable.


Exempt starting salary range: $96,000 - $107,175 per year, depending on experience.


Typical Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm, with the ability to flex hours and work an occasional Saturday as needed.
