Job description

Overview
MasTec is a leading North American infrastructure engineering and construction company focused primarily on engineering, building, installation, maintenance and upgrade of communications, energy and utility and other infrastructure, such as: wireless, wireline/fiber; power delivery infrastructure, including transmission, distribution, grid hardening and modernization, environmental planning and compliance; power generation infrastructure, primarily from clean energy and renewable sources; pipeline infrastructure, including for natural gas, water and carbon capture sequestration pipelines and pipeline integrity services; heavy civil and industrial infrastructure, including roads, bridges and rail; and environmental remediation services. The Senior Treasury Analyst is responsible for day-to-day cash management and bank account management, debt covenant calculations, cash flow analysis and other supportive treasury management activities. Supportive treasury management activities include: daily cash reporting, maintaining the daily cash spreadsheet, internal transfer requests, sweeps, maintaining bank accounts, maintaining bank fee spreadsheets, processing deposits, processing cash reconciliation items, preparing journal entries and providing customer service to other departments in researching and resolving bank related items among other activities. The Senior Treasury Analyst has strong problem-solving and excellent communication skills. Performs required tasks using Excel, Word, Outlook, Oracle, GTreasury, and the Internet to access to bank websites.
Responsibilities
1. Daily cash reporting: preparation of a daily report summarizing the previous and current day's cash activity, investment activity and the Company's credit facility activity.
2. Processing wire, ACH and internal transfer requests: preparing/entering wire and ACH and internal transfer requests to the banking website and ensuring approvals for such disbursements are within appropriate limits of authority.
3. Processing cash sweeps: obtaining bank balances, updating the periodic sweeps processes/spreadsheet and inputting balances to banking website for multiple bank accounts.
4. Maintaining bank accounts: assisting with processing documents to open or close bank accounts and ordering bank supplies.
5. Maintaining bank fee summary: updating and analyzing of bank account fees. Working with various banks on questions and adjustments to fees charged and making recommendations for fee savings.
6. Processing deposits: processing deposits, preparing and processing of various deposits received from other internal departments.
7. Processing cash reconciliation items: assisting with deposit adjustments, cash-in transit, month-end closing.
10. Providing customer service to other departments in researching and resolving bank related items.
11. Performing research to evaluate new banking products. Attending meetings related to new banking service initiatives.
12. Prepares debt covenant calculations in accordance with the Company's line of credit.
13. Assists with cash flow projection model.
14. Tracks and maintains letters of credit associated with the Company's line of credit.
15. Assists with internal and external audit requests for treasury related audit documentation.
17. Assists with all other treasury duties as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent from four-year college; and three or more years of related experience with proven record of career advancement.
  • CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) or CPA (Certified Public Accountant) are a plus.
