Description

As the Servicing Operations Senior Specialist, you will be responsible for processing transaction requests for customers, branch colleagues and internal colleagues. The Currency Management Department is a liaison between our branch network and our Cash in Transit vendors. Our goal is to ensure cash is where it needs to be when it needs to be there. We support the cash needs of our entire network of branches, branch ATM's and Remote ATMs. It is a fast paced environment that requires accuracy and attention to detail. We also support the foreign Currency buys and sells from the branches to the outsourced vendor. 

Primary responsibilities include

  • Performs advanced clerical operations tasks that are routine and/or repetitive in nature in a fast-paced environment.
  • Utilizes methods, procedures and knowledge of the business unit's product(s) and application(s).
  • Research routine customer, brand, or bank inquiries as appropriate.
  • Determines the source of problems and works to resolve them accurately and within service level agreements.
  • Will also utilize knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements to help minimize financial risk to Citizens and detailed knowledge of multiple systems to solve problems.
  • May need to work independently on special projects often interaction with all levels of management, serving as a resource for the business unit.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, cross train within the department and assume additional responsibilities as requested by management.
  • The position may include reporting responsibilities and may assume department administrative duties as needed.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Answering branch calls
  • Forecasting Remote ATM cash needs
  • Funding vendor cash vaults
  • Responding to email inquiries
  • Ordering emergency cash needs
  • Researching problem cash orders
  • Researching of teller differences relative to cash shipments and foreign currency exchange differences 
  • Interaction with vendors and internal business lines.
  • Quality control of work
  • Administration of Fiserv cash forecasting system

Qualifications:

  • Prior branch experience required
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Proficient in Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to communicate clearly through verbal and written communications
  • Team player
  • Foreign Currency Exchange experience 

Hours & Work Schedule

  • Hours per Week:  40 
  • Work Schedule: 830am-5:00pm Monday-Friday, position requires working 4 days in office in Riverside RI (1 day from home)
