Job description

Johnson Tractor is a family-owned and operated Case IH dealership with deep roots in the agricultural communities we serve. With nine locations across southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois, we are committed to delivering exceptional equipment, parts, service, and support to our customers.

We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Store Manager to lead operations at our Columbus and Allenton, WI locations. This leader will oversee both stores, driving performance, strengthening team culture, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience.

What Youโ€™ll Do:

The Store Manager is accountable for the overall performance, profitability, and leadership of the Columbus and Allenton dealerships. This role leads all departments โ€” Sales, Parts, Service, and Accounting โ€” ensuring operational excellence, strong communication, and a collaborative, team-oriented environment. This position reports to senior leadership and works closely with the Regional Sales Manager to drive local growth initiatives.

Lead and manage daily dealership operations to ensure profitability, efficiency, and high performance across all departments.

Drive sales growth in partnership with the Regional Sales Manager and execute local sales strategies.

Champion exceptional customer service and resolve escalated customer concerns.

Recruit, develop, and coach team members; conduct performance reviews and build a positive, accountable culture.

Foster strong cross-department communication and workflow between Sales, Parts, Service, and Accounting.

Monitor store financial performance, analyze key metrics, and implement improvements as needed.

Ensure facility standards, safety compliance, and adherence to company policies and procedures.

Represent Johnson Tractor in the local community and identify opportunities for business growth.

What Weโ€™re Looking For:

Proven leadership experience in retail, dealership, or multi-department operations (ag equipment industry experience preferred).

Strong sales, operational, and customer service background.

Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive measurable results.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Community-minded with the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.

Valid driverโ€™s license required.

This role operates in a combination of office, dealership, shop, and outdoor settings. The Store Manager regularly interacts with employees, customers, and community partners. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required based on business needs.
