Job description

California Country Club, located in Whittier, CA, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Cart Attendant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you'll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Pay Rate: $16.90 - $17.10
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
  • Must have strong customer/guest orientation
  • Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be dependable
  • Must have friendly personality and enjoy working with the public
  • Working knowledge of the rules of golf is preferred
  • Ability to learn and enforce course policies, rules, and regulations
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely

Position Responsibilities:
  • Maintains professional appearance
  • Brings carts from the cart barn in the morning and returns carts to the cart barn at the end of the day
  • Cleans, waters, checks carts after each use and restocks as required
  • Cleans and maintains cart barn
  • Ensures the carts are available for player use at all times
  • Receives and communicates complains to the Golf Shop
  • Works closely with Golf Shop staff to prepare and conduct golf tournaments
  • Implements and supports all course policies and programs as communicated by management
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
