Job description

Brookside at The Rose Bowl, located in Pasadena, CA, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Part-Time Cart Attendant! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon, you’ll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.  
 
Pay Rate: $18.57 hourly
 
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skill Requirements:
  • Must have strong customer/guest orientation
  • Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be dependable
  • Must have a friendly personality and enjoy working with the public
  • Working knowledge of the rules of golf is preferred
  • Ability to learn and enforce course policies, rules, and regulations
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely
  • Ability to work nights and weekends is mandatory
  • Golf experience preferred
Position Responsibilities:
  • Maintains professional appearance
  • Brings carts from the cart barn in the morning and returns carts to the cart barn at the end of the day
  • Cleans, waters, and checks carts after each use and restocks as required.
  • Cleans and maintains the cart barn
  • Ensures the carts are available for player use at all times
  • Receives and communicates complaints to the Golf Shop.
  • Works closely with Golf Shop staff to prepare and conduct golf tournaments
  • Implements and supports all course policies and programs as communicated by management.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager from time to time
