Purpose:
This position is responsible for providing Facilities support services to ensure a safe, functional, and professional workplace environment at our West Des Moines offices. The role coordinates facility maintenance activities, vendor services, furniture installation and management, workplace repairs, and facilities-related documentation while delivering exceptional customer service to employees and visitors.
Accountabilities:
  • Perform office furniture installation, relocation, reconfiguration, repairs, and inventory management to support evolving business needs.
  • Coordinate office moves, workspace improvements, conference room setups, artwork placement, and facility projects while partnering with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Complete general building maintenance activities including furniture adjustments, picture hanging, minor carpet repairs, workplace upkeep, preventative maintenance support, and routine facility inspections.
  • Monitor facilities work requests, respond to service issues, and ensure timely completion of work orders, documentation, and customer requests.
  • Support vendor coordination by monitoring service quality, confirming work is completed to company standards, and assisting with seasonal outdoor and after-hours facility support as needed.
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties, projects, and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • 1+ years of facilities, maintenance, office services, building operations, or relevant experience.
  • Experience performing hands-on furniture installation, office moves, basic building maintenance, or coordinating facility-related services.
  • Strong customer service, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Ability to interpret furniture layouts, floor plans, or workspace configurations while maintaining attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Ability to lift, move, and assemble office furniture and equipment, and provide support during occasional evenings or weekends when business needs require.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
