To excel as a Carpet Cutter, you need strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and experience with measuring and cutting materials, often gained through on-the-job training or a related vocational background. Familiarity with carpet-cutting tools, power cutters, measuring tapes, and sometimes automated cutting machines is typically required. Precision, time management, and good communication skills help ensure accurate cuts and effective collaboration with installers and team members.
