Job description

This is a Seasonal Summer Position.

We are looking for a reliable, skilled, and hardworking Resort Maintenance Technician to join our team at a Minnesota. In this hands-on role, you’ll help keep our resort property, grounds, buildings, and equipment in top condition so our guests enjoy an outstanding experience every day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform basic to intermediate construction and home repair tasks (drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.)
  • Conduct routine and preventative maintenance on resort buildings, cabins, and facilities
  • Handle boat maintenance and repairs (outboard motors, hull care, trailers, etc.)
  • Perform landscaping duties including mowing, trimming, edging, irrigation repairs, and general grounds upkeep
  • Operate a tractor and other equipment safely for landscaping or property projects
  • Troubleshoot and repair minor issues with HVAC, appliances, doors, windows, and fixtures
  • Complete work orders efficiently while maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Assist with seasonal projects and special maintenance needs as required

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in general maintenance, handyman work, or facilities maintenance
  • Basic to intermediate skills in construction and home repair (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting)
  • Experience with boat maintenance is strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of landscaping and grounds maintenance
  • Ability to safely operate a tractor and related equipment
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work outdoors in all weather conditions, and stand/walk for extended periods
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Positive attitude and guest-service mindset
