Job description

INS Construction Corp. is looking for an experienced Millwork Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate should have experience installing and finishing custom millwork, cabinetry, doors, trim, wall panels, and other architectural woodwork.


Responsibilities


  • Install custom millwork, cabinets, doors, trim, wall panels, and architectural woodwork.
  • Read and interpret drawings, plans, and measurements.
  • Measure, cut, fit, assemble, and install millwork accurately.
  • Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Perform adjustments, repairs, sanding, and finishing work as needed.
  • Ensure millwork is properly aligned, level, and securely installed.
  • Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and other trades on job sites.
  • Protect finished surfaces and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
  • Perform other carpentry and millwork-related duties as needed.


Qualifications


  • Previous experience as a millwork carpenter, finish carpenter, cabinet installer, or similar position.
  • Strong knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and installation techniques.
  • Ability to read drawings and take accurate measurements.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to produce quality finished work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional.
  • OSHA certification is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license is required.
