Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Carpenters for projects located in the Spokane, WA area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $25-36/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Carpenter and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:          

  • Commercial rough and finish carpentry
  • Metal stud framing and layout
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints and project plans
  • Installing doors, frames, blocking, backing, trim, and specialty finish components
  • Assembling and installing decorative acoustic wall and ceiling baffle systems
  • Installing rails, brackets, anchors, aircraft cable systems, saddles, and suspension supports
  • Installing and modifying anchor points in drywall, concrete, and Unistrut systems
  • Measuring, cutting, and mapping layouts for consistent spacing and precision installation
  • Using levels and layout tools to ensure alignment and uniform appearance
  • Working from ladders and scissor lifts at heights up to approximately 20 feet
  • Working independently or as part of a commercial crew to complete projects safely and efficiently

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of commercial carpentry experience required
  • Ability to read blueprints and execute layouts accurately
  • Experience with framing systems, suspended assemblies, and finish installation
  • OSHA 10 Certification is a plus (training available for qualified employees)
  • Basic carpentry hand tools
  • Standard PPE
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a crew
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening
