Job description

Job Title: Commercial Construction Specialist (+$30/HR)

Job Description

Join a dynamic team as a Commercial Construction Specialist, where you will play an integral role in the installation of metal framing, drywall, insulation systems, and acoustical ceiling tiles. Utilize your expertise to ensure project specifications and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

  • Install 16-gauge cold-formed metal framing in accordance with project specifications and construction drawings.
  • Hang, tape, mud, and finish drywall to achieve the required finish levels.
  • Install RF foil and related insulation or barrier systems as specified.
  • Install acoustical ceiling tile (ACT) grid systems and ceiling tiles.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and project layouts.
  • Measure, cut, and fit materials accurately to maintain quality standards.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely.

Essential Skills

  • Proven experience with commercial metal stud framing and drywall installation.
  • In-depth knowledge of drywall finishing techniques and industry standards.
  • Experience installing acoustical ceiling systems (ACT).
  • Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.

Work Environment

Work in commercial construction job sites with both indoor and outdoor conditions, depending on the project phase. Expect frequent standing, lifting, bending, climbing, and overhead work.
