Job Title: Skilled Laborer (Construction)
Job Description

This role supports experienced construction professionals on commercial roofing and general construction projects, helping to complete work safely, efficiently, and on schedule. The position is ideal for someone with some construction experience who is safety-oriented, eager to learn, and comfortable taking direction while working with hand and power tools in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist skilled workers with day-to-day construction tasks to ensure projects finish on time and meet quality standards.
  • Support roofing activities involving single-ply membrane, shingle, and other roofing systems as directed.
  • Perform general construction labor duties, including material handling, site cleanup, and basic carpentry or sheet metal tasks.
  • Use basic hand tools such as hammers and rollers safely and correctly under supervision.
  • Operate or assist with power tools such as saws and drills when trained and authorized.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures and actively contribute to maintaining a safe job site.
  • Take direction from foremen and skilled tradespeople, ask questions when needed, and apply feedback to improve performance.
  • Arrive on time to assigned commercial job sites with reliable transportation and be prepared to work the full scheduled shift.
  • Work collaboratively with team members on commercial projects at hospitals, colleges, corporations, schools, and other facilities.
