 At Adelante, our Maintenance Technicians play an important role in keeping our facilities safe, functional, and welcoming for the people we serve. From repairing buildings and maintaining equipment to helping with special projects, your work will directly support our mission and the employees and communities that depend on us. 


What Your Day Will Look Like:

  • Performing general building maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance. 
  • Troubleshooting and repairing equipment and facility issues. 
  • Painting, drywall repair, carpentry, and minor remodeling projects. 
  • Performing basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical repairs.
  • Completing landscaping and general grounds maintenance.
  • Assisting with janitorial duties to keep facilities clean and safe.
  • Responding to maintenance requests and emergency repairs.
  • Completing work orders and documenting completed work.
  • Helping move materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Participating in an on-call rotation to support facility needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule & Pay:

Full-time | Monday thru Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm


Pay from: $16.00 per hour.

Requirements:
  • * Must able to commute to Belen / Los Lunas  (Company vehicle will be provided)
  • High Diploma or GED (required)
  • Post high school training or certification in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry (preferred)
  • Two (2) year general maintenance.
  • One (1) year experience driving oversized truck/vans.
  • Strong organizational, written, problem solving, verbal communication and time management skills.

Other Requirements: Must be pass background/fingerprint investigation and pre-employment drug screening.  Must possess a valid NM driver’s license and proof of auto liability insurance.  Must have own reliable transportation and agency insurable driving record.  Must be able to travel to different locations. Must be skilled in the use and operation of hand/power tools and equipment.  Must be able to perform hard physical labor (i.e., moving furniture, construction materials, remodeling etc.) for extended periods of time.   Must be able to lift 80 lbs.
