Key Responsibilities 

Formwork Carpenter (Concrete) 

  • Construct and assemble formwork systems for concrete foundations, walls, columns, and slabs 
  • Precisely cut, measure and install construction materials using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for carpentry tasks 
  • Install anchor bolts, steel embed plates, and other fixtures in formwork 
  • Removal and wrecking of formwork after concrete has cured 
  • General knowledge and ability to interpret construction drawings and documents. 

General Carpenter 

  • Build, install, and maintain handrails and temporary enclosures 
  • Install interior blocking, and have knowledge of doors, frames, and hardware 
  • Install interior protections, floor coverings, and waterproofing 
  • General understanding plans and specifications to guide construction 
  • Precisely cut, measure and install construction materials using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for carpentry tasks 
  • Collaborate and work with plumbers, electricians, and other professionals on construction projects

  • Minimum of 3 years commercial carpentry experience required
