Job description

Job Summary:
We’re looking for a skilled Lead Carpenter to take the reins on a variety of residential construction projects. In this role, you’ll manage a crew and ensure all work meets top-tier quality standards, stays on schedule, and aligns with client expectations. From framing and siding to trim work, decks, concrete prep, excavation, and custom closets—you’ll lead by example and bring craftsmanship and leadership together. This is a very hands on position and requires finish carpentry experience/skills

Job ID: 76018
Location: Utah County (Must be willing to commute to Heber City area)
Shift: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $40 – $55/hr DOE


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team on custom residential builds
  • Read and interpret blueprints and project plans
  • Perform carpentry tasks including framing, finish work, exterior door installation, window installation, demolition, and general construction tasks
  • Ensure job site safety and high-quality craftsmanship
  • Communicate effectively with team members, subcontractors, and clients
  • Solve problems on-site and adjust to project changes as needed

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in custom residential carpentry
  • Finish Carpentry experience is a must
  • Able to manage crews and promote a positive, productive environment
  • Comfortable working on high-end custom homes
  • Able to read and execute construction blueprints and specs
  • Solid knowledge of construction tools, materials, and safety practices
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented and solution-focused
  • Reliable transportation and basic personal tools (larger tools provided)
  • Physically able to lift, bend, and stand throughout the workday
