Job description

We are currently seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. You will collaborate with the project manager and building team to construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, wallboard, and laminate. Structures include building frameworks, partitions, door and window frames, wooden stairways, rafters, and flooring. You must know how to read and interpret blueprints, work with raw and finish materials, and have a good working knowledge of standard industry tools and equipment. We are small, tight knit business with a family feel that go the extra mile to do things right. 

Carpenter Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of professional carpentry experience a plus
  • Strong working knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods, including installation and construction
  • Proficient in using electrical and hand tools as well as measurement tools
  • Able to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Good physical condition, stamina, and dexterity

Company Description

We are a small company that does small jobs up to large full house remodels. On larger projects we will coordinate sub-contractors, demo, framing, finish carpentry and all the small misc. jobs. Smaller jobs will do as much work as possible, including sheetrock and tile work. Part of this job also is installing reclaimed beams and barn boards, structural and non-structural.
