About the Role:

The Carpentry Construction Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of carpentry projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, to ensure that project specifications are met and that any issues are promptly addressed. The Project Manager will also be responsible for developing project plans, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes. Effective communication and leadership skills are essential, as the Project Manager will lead a team of carpenters and other construction professionals. Ultimately, the goal of this position is to deliver successful carpentry projects that meet client expectations and enhance the company's reputation in the industry.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of managing the building of additions, decks and screen rooms
  • Knowledge of blueprints, county codes, electrical and framing
  • Ability to complete small punch out tasks as needed.
  • Proven experience in carpentry and construction project management.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Project Management (PMP or equivalent).
  • Experience with construction management software and tools.
  • Familiarity with sustainable building practices and materials.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets for carpentry projects.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.
  • Supervise and lead a team of carpenters and construction workers on-site.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.

Skills:

The required skills for this role include strong project management abilities, which are utilized in planning, executing, and closing carpentry projects effectively. Leadership skills are essential for guiding and motivating the team, ensuring that everyone is aligned with project goals.
