The Job

As a Building Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for keeping our physical properties, guest rooms, and mechanical systems operating safely and in top condition. Working across Hotel Terra and Teton Mountain Lodge, your primary focus will be performing preventative maintenance, responding to guest repair requests, and ensuring overall facility safety.

Requirements:

To be successful as a Building Maintenance Technician on our team, you will bring:

  • Experience: Background in facility, general, or hotel maintenance (ranging from entry-level roles to experienced technicians).
  • Technical Aptitude: Hands-on experience or working knowledge in core building trades, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC/refrigeration, drywall restoration, masonry, or basic carpentry.
  • Specialized Knowledge (Bonus): Familiarity with boilers, or holding a CFC/EPA certification, is a strong plus.
  • Tool Proficiency: Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and basic diagnostic equipment (such as multimeters and volt meters).
  • Guest-First Mindset: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a helpful, empathetic approach when interacting with guests and staff.
  • Adaptability & Reliability: Strong problem-solving skills, high integrity, and a positive, "can-do" attitude when unexpected issues arise.
  • Logistics: Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English (bilingual skills are a plus!), with the flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and occasional overtime.
