Are you a skilled HVAC professional who takes pride in keeping buildings running safely and efficiently? Join our team and play a vital role in maintaining a comfortable, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.
As an HVAC / Maintenance Technician, you'll work hands-on with building systems, equipment, and grounds-ensuring everything operates at peak performance while supporting compliance with state and federal regulations.
What You'll Do
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair building systems, including HVAC, electrical controls, plumbing, and mechanical equipment
  • Service heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration systems
  • Perform general maintenance tasks such as carpentry, painting, masonry, and minor electrical work
  • Complete preventive maintenance according to scheduled plans
  • Maintain grounds and outdoor areas (mowing, plowing, sanding, etc.) to ensure safety and appearance
  • Repair furniture, move equipment, and assist with facility upkeep and organization
  • Respond to urgent or emergency maintenance issues, including occasional off-hours calls
  • Operate facility vehicles for errands, deliveries, and pickups
  • Accurately complete work orders and required documentation
  • Support the Maintenance Supervisor and step into leadership responsibilities when needed

What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of HVAC experience
  • Valid licensure in heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, or boiler operation required
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems (heat pumps, compressors, boilers, cooling towers, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and NFPA safety codes
  • Experience with general maintenance trades (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.)
  • Ability to safely operate maintenance tools, equipment, and vehicles
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal)
  • Healthcare or long-term care experience preferred
