Job description

Job Summary: Works at construction sites performing tasks such as demolition, installation of all interior and exterior finishes, doors/frames and general framing knowledge and execution.

General Responsibilities:

  • Reads plans, instructions, and specifications to determine scope of work
  • Measures, marks, or records openings or distances to layout areas where construction work will be performed
  • Demolish and install interior finishes
  • Assist with other tasks as needed, such as painting
  • Picking up materials as required
  • Resolve conflicts or miscommunication that may happen on-site quickly and amicably
  • Able to operate construction equipment, such as forklift, if needed

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years Commercial Construction experience, particularly in removing and replacing interior and exterior finishes
  • Must provide own truck and all tools
  • Understanding of basic plumbing and electrical systems
  • Ability to communicate and report effectively
  • Aptitude in math and strong problem-solving skills
