What is a cargo job?

Cargo jobs involve the handling, transportation, and management of goods and freight. Professionals in cargo roles may work at airports, shipping ports, or warehouses, ensuring that shipments are properly loaded, documented, tracked, and delivered safely and efficiently. These positions require attention to detail, physical stamina, and knowledge of logistics and safety regulations. Cargo jobs can range from cargo handlers and loaders to logistics coordinators and freight agents.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a cargo agent, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Cargo Agent, you need strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of cargo handling regulations, often supported by a high school diploma or relevant logistics certification.
