JOB INFORMATION:

JOB OVERVIEW:
Under the supervision of the Senior Regional Sales Manager, the Sales Support Specialist will contribute to the achievement of sales targets by supporting sales representatives, coordinating sales activities, organizing meetings, and maintaining good customer relationships. The Sales Support Specialist's responsibilities include supporting sales, driving customer satisfaction, coordinating with other departments, handling administrative duties such as writing reports, managing Salesforce data and reporting, tracking sales campaigns, and promoting customer satisfaction.

Upholds the values of the GPA to promote Safety, Integrity, Respect, Community, Creativity and Opportunity. Promotes a safe work environment by participating in safety initiatives and reporting unsafe conditions and behaviors.

JOB DUTIES:
  • Supports the sales team by contacting customers to arrange appointments and ensuring all sales representatives have high-quality, up-to-date support material.
  • Handles urgent calls, emails, and messages when sales representatives are unavailable, answering customer queries, informing them of delays, and scheduling meetings.
  • Maintains organized sales records and ensures accuracy of Salesforce data, including lead, opportunity, and account information.
  • Generates and distributes Salesforce reports and dashboards to provide visibility into sales performance, pipeline activity, and campaign outcomes.
  • Tracks sales campaigns in Salesforce, ensuring engagement is monitored, results are captured, and follow-up actions are completed in a timely manner.
  • Provide customers/visitors with an informative tour of the port and facilities.
  • Arranges for creation and distribution of presentations and supporting documents to help the sales team generate business leads.
  • Collaborates with Sales Leadership to monitor KPIs, campaign ROI, and customer activity within Salesforce.
  • Ensures adherence to GPA regulations and policies.
  • Adds new/updated business cards to Outlook and Salesforce.
  • Identify sales leads and market trends.

Experience
  • Experience as a sales coordinator Preferred

  • Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field
