Job description

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Courier Driver with a valid DOT (Department of Transportation) certification to join our dynamic logistics team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods, packages, and materials to various destinations while ensuring exceptional customer service. Your expertise in commercial driving, route planning, and handling heavy loads will contribute to our commitment to timely deliveries and satisfied clients. Duties

  • Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies
  • Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring secure handling of goods
  • Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and meet delivery deadlines
  • Deliver packages and freight directly to customers locations, providing excellent customer service with professionalism and courtesy
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety standards are met
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and load/unload records
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status or any issues encountered during routes

Qualifications
