Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and tech-savvy Air Freight Pricing Supervisor to join a fast-paced, growing logistics technology company. This position is responsible for managing air export shipments from pricing and airline rate negotiations through routing, capacity sourcing, and booking.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience in U.S. air export operations and pricing, including working directly with airlines and GSAs to secure competitive rates and capacity. This role requires someone who can work independently, respond quickly to time-sensitive requests, and provide excellent customer service in a remote, technology-driven environment.

Duties

  • Prepare accurate and competitive air export quotes and pricing based on customer shipment requirements.
  • Source air freight rates and available cargo capacity directly from airlines and GSAs.
  • Negotiate airline rates, routing options, and capacity to secure competitive solutions for customers.
  • Compare airline options based on pricing, routing, transit time, capacity, and customer requirements.
  • Book air export shipments and coordinate directly with airlines, GSAs, freight forwarders, and customers.
  • Manage the quoting and booking process from initial pricing request through confirmed shipment booking.
  • Monitor active bookings and provide customers with timely shipment and capacity updates.
  • Respond to time-sensitive pricing, routing, and capacity requests in a fast-paced environment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve pricing discrepancies, routing challenges, booking issues, and capacity constraints.
  • Maintain strong customer service and communication throughout the quoting and booking process.
  • Track market conditions, airline pricing, routing options, and capacity changes that may impact customer shipments.
  • Provide customer and market feedback to internal product and technology teams to help improve digital freight solutions and processes.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Air Export operations, pricing, or quoting experience required.
  • Previous experience with a freight forwarder, airline cargo department, GSA, or air cargo company.
  • Hands-on experience preparing air freight quotes and pricing.
  • Experience communicating and negotiating rates directly with airlines and/or GSAs.
  • Strong understanding of air export routing, airline capacity, pricing, and booking procedures.
  • Ability to evaluate multiple airline and routing options and determine the most competitive solution.
  • Experience coordinating international air export shipments and resolving shipment-related issues.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Comfortable learning and working with technology, digital freight platforms, and logistics systems.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple urgent pricing and booking requests simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and remain responsive in a remote, fast-paced environment.

Join our team as an Air Export Pricing Supervisor and bring your air cargo expertise to a growing technology-driven logistics organization where you will have a direct impact on pricing, customer service, and international air freight solutions.
