Caretaker jobs require strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills to effectively support and interact with those in their care. Physical stamina, attention to detail, and basic knowledge of health and safety procedures are also important, along with reliability and the ability to follow care plans or instructions. Certifications such as first aid or CPR can be beneficial but are not always mandatory.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a caretaker in?

To thrive as a Caretaker, you need a solid understanding of building maintenance, basic repairs, and facility management, often supported by a high school diploma or equivalent experience. Familiarity with tools, cleaning equipment, and safety protocols is typically required, and some roles may prefer certifications in facilities management or safety training.
