Job Description:
*Radiology Technologist at our Medical Center in Portland, OR.
*Full-Time Schedules Available for 8, 10 and 12-hour Day, Evening and Night Shifts
*$6,000 Sign-on Bonus for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment - this is in addition to the fantastic benefits and compensation package offered by the hospital that begin on your first day of employment. 
*Our Medical Center is a 6-time Magnet Award winning medical center with over 150 years of history where you will be part of one of the largest diagnostic imaging centers in the Northwest. You will be an integral part of this acclaimed healthcare facility, where your expertise will make a real difference in patient care. In our Radiology Department, you will work within a team of dynamic and highly skilled technologists in an environment that fosters collaboration and innovation. You will have the opportunity to grow and gain experience across a wide range of radiologic specialties such as surgical imaging, fluoroscopic and invasive procedures, as well as portable and outpatient imaging across many hospital departments including surgery, critical care and our recently renovated emergency department. In this role you will have a chance to contribute to a team that’s dedicated to exceptional patient care while allowing you to continue to grow your skills in a fast-paced and rewarding setting. 
*The Radiology Technologist performs imaging examinations according to physicians orders, utilizing a variety of sophisticated imaging equipment, taking into account individual patients unique and/or age-related needs. Utilizes clinical knowledge and judgment in regard for proper positioning factors, radiation dose calibration of technique and patient treatment needed to produce optimal high quality images. Performs all examinations with minimal radiation exposure to patient and operator with ALARA awareness.

Required Qualifications:
*Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
*Oregon Radiographer License upon hire, Or
*Oregon Radiographer Temporary License upon hire.
*National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 6 months (180 days) of hire.
*National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
*New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.
