General Description: 

Lead Operators play a vital role in supporting the production of high-quality parts in a Just-in-time environment. By working in one of our production departments, there are endless growth opportunities for an exciting and dynamic career in the Automotive Industry.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Follow work instructions to produce and verify conformance to quality standards.
  • Meet hourly production quotas.
  • Document daily production.
  • Operate all injection machines and assembly stations
  • Ability to be cross trained in many areas, tasks and or machinery.
  • Ability to train FTMs in the absence of the Leader Tech.
  • Understand and follow the Kanban system.
  • Work in a safe manner within Health and Safety guidelines.
  • Maintain 5S in all assigned areas.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred –or—successful completion of an aptitude test
  • You must be able to bend, reach, lift and perform the other physical requirements of the job. Accommodations can be made.

Straight Shift Timing on Day Shift (6:00 AM-2:30 PM) but may be required to change shifts in order to accommodate production requirements.

Nature of vacancy: Replacement
