Job description

WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) for a Part-Time opportunity with a growing Ambulatory Surgery Center in Wayne, PA.

This is an excellent opportunity for a cardiovascular professional looking for a flexible schedule in a state-of-the-art outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting cardiovascular procedures and working collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and procedural staff to ensure exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians during cardiovascular and invasive diagnostic procedures.
  • Operate and troubleshoot cardiovascular imaging and monitoring equipment.
  • Prepare procedure rooms and ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
  • Monitor patients throughout procedures and document clinical findings.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and procedural documentation.
  • Adhere to infection control, patient safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Support efficient patient flow in a fast-paced ambulatory surgery environment.
Requirements
  • Active RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) Certification
  • Active Pennsylvania License
  • Current BLS and ACLS Certifications required
    • SCA site will assist with certification requirements following the start of the assignment if needed.
  • Previous experience in an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) preferred.
  • Experience working with Philips cardiovascular imaging systems preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills.
