Perfusionist

A perfusionist is needed to support cardiac surgeries. The role involves operating autotransfusion devices to minimize blood loss during operations. The candidate will assemble and operate extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) and ventricular assist devices (VAD). Support for vascular procedures through extracorporeal circulation will be a key responsibility. Minimizing risks associated with cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) is crucial. Candidates will perform point-of-care (POC) testing and interpret results to guide CPB. The position requires flexibility and the ability to work under pressure. Surgical scrubs will be provided as part of the dress code. Candidates will need a Bachelor's degree in Cardiovascular Perfusion Science to qualify.
