Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a float pool position requiring a VA or compact RN license and Epic experience.

Details
  • Float pool position covering various ICU and intermediate care units including Medical ICU, Thoracic Cardiovascular ICU, Coronary Care Unit, Surgical Trauma ICU (Level 1), Neuro & Neurosurgery ICU, Special Pathogens Unit (COVID), Thoracic Cardiovascular Intermediate Unit, Surgical Trauma Intermediate Unit, Neuro & Neurosurgery Intermediate Unit, and ED Boarders
  • Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00
  • Every other weekend and every other holiday required
  • 36 or 48 hours per week available
  • Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
  • Active VA or compact RN license required (pending license accepted)
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • ICU nursing experience required
Additional Information
  • Must adhere to facility's float policy across ICU and intermediate care units
  • Must work 2 out of 3 winter holidays, including Thanksgiving, Black Friday, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
  • Up to 40 hours of RTO may be approved; no RTO approved during the first 2 weeks of assignment
  • Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed
  • 12 months must pass before returning as a traveler to this facility
