Specialty Care at Sanford is community-based, multi-specialty practice. The providers are committed to providing quality and cost-effective medical care to a diverse population of patients with chronic medical conditions and special needs. Our team in Cardiology specializes in the following:

Services:

  • Non-invasive, general Cardiology
  • Participate in the care for patients in an outpatient clinic in conjunction with physicians
  • Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests
  • Plan and coordinate follow-up with patients
  • Provide routine diagnostic, therapeutic and preventative care
  • Educate patients about preventative care, medical issues and use of prescribed medications
  • Opportunity for inpatient consultation and stress testing during normal practice hours

Qualifications:

  • Medical School Graduate (MD/DO)
  • Board certified
  • NC State License preferred
  • FCVS profile preferred for those without NC license but not required

  • Graduation from an accredited school of medicine and completion of a ACGME certified fellowship program.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
  • Board Certified in Specialty
  • DEA; MD
  • ACLS

Professional Experience Requirements:

  • Prefer prior experience in Cardiology.

Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:

  • Language Skills: Should be able to communicate proficiently in English.
  • Reasoning Ability: high-level quantitative and qualitative reasoning skills required to diagnose and treat patients.
  • Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: NC medical license, DEA License, BLS/ACLS certification required.
  • Board certification in Cardiology.
