These labs use advanced imaging techniques such as echocardiography, MRI, or CT scans to assess heart structure and function. The core lab ensures consistency, accuracy, and unbiased interpretation of imaging results, which is crucial for comparing data across multiple study sites. They often collaborate with hospitals, research institutions, and pharmaceutical companies to support the development of new therapies and improve patient care.
