Job description

Calling all experienced Cardiac Surgery ICU Physician Assistants and Acute Care Nurse Practitioners for a great Full Time Opportunity in North Carolina! An active board certification, North Carolina license, and DEA are required. Be part of a community surrounded by scenic mountain views, thriving local arts, and countless opportunities for outdoor adventure while delivering exceptional patient care!


This is a Full Time Night Shift position!


Start: ASAP


Schedule: 4 Night Shifts one week and the next week 2 night shifts a week, alternating weeks. (7pm 7am)

Duties include: Collaborating with families and nurses to prepare early discharges and manage procedures such as A-line, chest tube, and line changes. Coverage of CSICU, telemetry, new consults, outpatient calls, and H&P updates, with about 30% direct ICU responsibilities. No OR duties or daily notes, only brief procedure and significant event documentation required.


Qualifications:

Active Board Certification PA or ACNP

Active North Carolina State License

Active DEA
