  • Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 - $1,890
  • Orientation: Bi-weekly orientation available
Job Requirements
  • Active RN license
  • Minimum 1 year of recent nursing experience preferred, ideally in cardiac stepdown, telemetry, progressive care, or intermediate care
  • Strong assessment skills with the ability to recognize changes in cardiac status quickly
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced acute care and hospital nursing environment
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, respiratory therapy, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Current BLS certification preferred
Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to cardiac stepdown patients with complex medical needs
  • Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and patient status throughout the shift
  • Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
  • Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns as needed
  • Support recovery for patients with cardiovascular and post-surgical needs
  • Document care accurately and maintain a high standard of clinical communication
  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a collaborative team environment
