It includes Manchester Memorial Hospital, a 249-bed community hospital, Rockville General, a campus of Manchester Memorial Hospital, a 102-bed facility, a large multispecialty provider group and visiting nurse services. The Greater Manchester Region serves a region of 300,000 people in 19 towns. The Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Specialist functions within the healthcare team as a professional caregiver who provides quality care to patients and their families. The Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Specialist provides care to the adult and geriatric cardiac and/or pulmonary patient in telemetry monitoring, exercise, education, and psychosocial support. The Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Specialist collaborates with other disciplines in the assessment of patient care needs, implementation of patient care, development of the care plan, evaluation of patient outcomes and the effectiveness of care. Assist with Cardiac Holter monitor application, removal, and scanning.

Qualifications: B.S. in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, Health/Fitness, or related field. BCLS/ACLS certified upon hire is strongly preferred or receive certification within 90 days of hire and maintain clinical competency during employment within this role. EP-C or CEP Certification from the ACSM strongly preferred at the time of hire or receive certification within 90 days of hire and maintain clinical competency during employment within this role.
