Job Title: Ambulatory Device Tech
Location: New York, NY
Type: Contract | 28 Weeks
Shift & Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Pay Rate:ย $45 to $50/hour

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Ambulatory Device Tech for an exciting Travel or Local job in New York, NY.

Responsibilities

  • Perform pacemaker and ICD interrogation and programming.

  • Support ambulatory cardiac device monitoring and management activities.

  • Maintain accurate EMR documentation and charge entry.

  • Collaborate with cardiology, electrophysiology, and clinical teams to support patient care.

  • Educate patients and families regarding cardiac device monitoring and follow-up care.

  • Assist with electrophysiological monitoring activities as needed.

  • Ensure proper operation and utilization of cardiac device technology equipment.

  • Communicate effectively with healthcare providers regarding patient device status.

  • Support workflow and operational needs across multiple departments.

  • Maintain compliance with facility policies, procedures, and documentation standards.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Minimum 2 years of healthcare experience.

  • Experience with pacemaker and ICD interrogation and programming.

  • Background in cardiac device technology, electrophysiology (EP), cardiology, or MRI operations.

  • Computer literacy required.

  • Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited program in cardiac electrophysiology technology or equivalent education and experience.

  • Experience in cardiology or electrophysiology settings.

  • Proficiency with EMR documentation and charge entry.

  • Ability to educate staff, patients, and families in electrophysiological monitoring.
