Work Type: PRN

Shift: Shift 1/7:00:00AM to 5:30:00PM

Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$42.60 - $42.60 / hour

Summary

Assists Cardiologists with select procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab or EP Lab. Performs all functions related to circulating, scrubbing, recording, and x-ray duties. Provides direct patient care, basic interpretation of hemodynamics, ECG, and medication administration. Troubleshoots all Cardiac Cath Lab or EP Lab equipment with minimal assistance.

Requirements

Education:Associate Degree required or two years of formal education or training beyond high school required.

Experience:Minimum of 1 year of CVT experience required.

Certification:Proof of American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS), current for a minimum of 90 days after hire date. For units that require American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), current for a minimum of 90 days after hire date. Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required.
