Interventional Cardiologist Opportunity - CHRISTUS Health

Location: Beaumont, TX

Schedule: Full-time

Position Overview:

We are seeking an Interventional Cardiologist to join our cardiology team in Southeast Texas. This full-time, permanent position is available due to the planned retirement of a valued provider and offers an excellent opportunity to step into a busy, established practice. The incoming physician will have access to a fully equipped cardiac cath lab and a highly collaborative clinical team dedicated to delivering exceptional cardiac care.

Practice Highlights:

  • Clinic Hours: Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-3pm
  • Cath Lab Access: Yes
  • Clinic Volume: 15-20 patients a day
  • Procedures Performed:
    • Coronary angioplasty and stent placement
    • Right and left heart catheterization
    • Diagnostic coronary angiography
    • CT angiography
    • Nuclear Cardiology
    • 2D echocardiology
    • TAVR program
  • Annual Cath/Angio Volume: Info Requested
  • Call Coverage: Rotating weekend & ER call coverage
  • EMR Systems: Epic

Ideal Candidate:

  • MD or DO
  • Fellowship-trained in Interventional Cardiology
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified

Is call required for this role. If so, could you please share how call coverage is typically structured?

Yes, call is required.

My physicians currently take their own call Monday - Friday. The weekends are on a rotation. There is a rotation for ER call.

Do you have a standard schedule for cath procedures?

The schedule is provider based. The physicians that work office in the am have afternoon scheduled times in cath lab. The physicians that work office in the afternoon have morning cath lab times.

My providers normally start at 8:00 and 12:00 in cath lab
