Shift: Full time - Days
Location: Medical City North Hills Hospital

Job Summary and Qualifications
The cardiac cath lab RN, under supervision of the Supervisor of the Cardiac Cath Lab and Director of CV services is responsible for performing the daily operations for the cardiac cath lab. The CCL RN is responsible for direct and indirect patient care, assists the Physician during procedures, responsible to circulate cases, scrubbing diagnostic and interventional procedures and hemodynamic monitoring. Patient care functions will be performed in accordance with the nurse practice act in a manner consistent with the mission and goals of the organization. Provides patient education of cath lab procedures.
What qualifications you will need:
  • Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing with an Associate's of Science of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN), preferred
  • Current RN licensure by the State of Texas or from a Compact State if you declare the Compact State your Primary State of Residence required
  • 2+ years of experience in an acute care setting required
  • 1-2 years ICU/CCU critical care experience required
  • 1-2 years Cardiac Catheterization Lab experience preferred
  • Ability to read arrhythmias
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
