Job Requirements
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in prep and recovery nursing
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Current BLS certification
  • Associate degree in Nursing or higher
  • Preferred experience in a prep and recovery area, cardiac care unit, or procedural recovery setting
  • Preferred familiarity with post-anesthesia recovery, vascular line pulls, and post-cardiac or interventional radiology assessments
  • Strong multitasking skills and a motivated, team-oriented approach
Responsibilities
  • Provide pre- and post-procedure nursing care for cardiac cath lab and interventional radiology patients
  • Monitor adult and geriatric patients during recovery and respond promptly to changes in condition
  • Perform thorough assessments after cardiac and interventional procedures
  • Assist with vascular line removals and other recovery-related clinical tasks as appropriate
  • Document patient care accurately in Cerner and support smooth patient flow throughout the unit
  • Collaborate with physicians, cardiovascular team members, and other healthcare professionals to deliver safe, efficient, high-quality patient care
  • Maintain a calm, organized approach in a busy procedural recovery environment
