We are seeking a hands-on Night Shift Supervisor! This person will be responsible for leading a team of 10-11 production associates in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment. This is a working supervisor role that requires strong mechanical knowledge and leadership skills. The ideal candidate is someone who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves, troubleshoot equipment, and work alongside their team to keep production running safely and efficiently!

Job Responsibilities
  • Supervise, coach, and support a team of 10-11 production associates
  • Lead daily production activities while maintaining a safe and productive work environment
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform hands-on repairs to minimize equipment downtime
  • Repair and maintain industrial equipment, including:
  • Electric motors
  • Heavy construction and production equipment
  • Industrial presses
  • Bearings and bearing packing
  • Sprockets, chains, and drive systems
  • Conveyors and material handling equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance and coordinate repairs as needed
  • Monitor production, quality, and safety throughout the shift
  • Train employees on equipment operation and safe work practices
  • Communicate shift performance, equipment issues, and production updates to plant leadership

  • Previous supervisory or team lead experience in manufacturing, maintenance, or a heavy industrial environment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to "turn a wrench"
  • Experience repairing and maintaining industrial machinery, heavy equipment, or production equipment
  • Experience with motors, sprockets, bearings, conveyors, presses, and similar mechanical systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment and perform mechanical repairs independently
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to work a 12-hour overnight schedule and significant overtime

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in concrete products, aggregates, recycling, construction materials, or other heavy manufacturing environments
  • Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, or basic electrical systems is a plus.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working around industrial equipment
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with dust, noise, and varying temperatures
