Heat Treat Production Associate Opportunity

Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a machine manufacturer in Audubon, MN. We're seeking candidates for Heat Treat Production Associate roles. Compensation for these temp opportunities ranges between $18.00-$21.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Interested? Read more below!

What you will do as a Heat Treat Production Associate:

  • Set-up and disassemble loads and/or operate heat treating equipment, such as heat-treating furnaces, vacuum furnaces, and induction machines, that anneal, temper, harden or heat-treat metal objects
  • Set automatic controls, observe gauges, and operate gas or electric furnace used to harden temper, anneal heat treat metal parts
  • Load parts into containers in accordance with load diagrams, closes furnace door, and insert parts into furnace when specified temperature is reached
  • Adjust machine settings with assistance when necessary
  • Remove parts from the furnace after specified time and air-dry/cool parts in water or oil brine
  • Read production schedule to determine processing sequence and furnace temperature requirements for objects to be heat treated
  • Light gas burners and adjusts flow of gas and coolant water

What you need to be a Heat Treat Production Associate:

  • Ability to read work orders to determine processing specifications
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Ability to follow work instructions
